Official: Frosinone vs. AC Milan starting XIs – Pioli opts for consistency again

Stefano Pioli has named his starting XI for tonight’s clash between AC Milan and Frosinone. It’s the fourth consecutive game that the manager has made this selection and that is understandable, given the recent form.

Milan are currently on a seven-game unbeaten run, almost making it five consecutive wins against Bologna, and Pioli has thus decided to opt for consistency. This means that Yacine Adli keeps his spot in the midfield tandem alongside Tijjani Reijnders, with Ismael Bennacer on the bench.

The Algerian has just returned from an injury and might come off the bench, but he’s certainly not ready for 90 minutes. Up front, Rafael Leao will be looking to end his goal drought, having not scored since September. Olivier Giroud, meanwhile, could make it three games without a goal.
