Official: AC Milan confirm Simon Kjaer will be out at least six months after knee surgery

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have confirmed that Simon Kjaer is very likely to be out for the rest of the season after undergoing surgery on his knee.

On their official website, the club announced that Kjaer underwent an arthroscopy on his left knee for the reconstruction of his anterior cruciate ligament and the re-insertion of the medial collateral ligament. The operation was carried out at the La Madonnina Clinic and was perfectly successful.

It was performed by Dr. Roberto Pozzoni with the contribution of the Galeazzi CTS (Sports Traumatology Center) team in the presence of the Club Doctor, Stefano Mazzoni. The Dane is fine after the operation and is ‘motivated to start the rehabilitation process’ right away, with a recovery time of six months estimated.

Now we will wait and see if the management have any plans to dip into the market in order to fill the void for the rest of the season, and we wish Simon all the best in his recovery.

  1. Big blow for us, if elliots doesnt make a move in this january transfer they should leave our beloved milan already, we need an owner who have ambition and purpose to win a trophy.

  2. I have said it before, we start winning trophies when Elliot sells off their stake in the club. We want oil money in Milan.

If psg can, why not Milan
