Official: Lille vs. Milan starting XIs – Hauge gets his first start; Gabbia and Tonali also in

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have made five changes to the starting XI that beat Napoli 3-1 for the game against Lille in the Europa League.

The Rossoneri will be missing some important players such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Rafael Leao and Alexis Saelemaekers – all of whom are out injured – while just like the game in Naples it will be Daniele Bonera who takes charge as head coach Stefano Pioli still has Coronavirus.

There are two changes in defence as Diogo Dalot comes in for Calabria on the right and Matteo Gabbia will partner Kjaer given that Romagnoli’s recovery is being managed. Theo Hernandez will be at left-back, with Gianluigi Donnarumma in goal.

In midfield, Kessie has been given a rest with Sandro Tonali joining Ismael Bennacer in the double pivot, while in the attacking trident behind Ante Rebic it will be Hakan Calhanoglu at playmaker, with Samu Castillejo on the right and Jens Petter Hauge on the left.

Official Milan XI (4-2-3-1): G. Donnarumma; Dalot, Kjaer, Gabbia, Theo Hernandez; Bennacer, Tonali; Castillejo, Calhanoglu, Hauge; Rebic.

Bench: Tatarusanù, A. Donnarumma, Calabria, Romagnoli, Conti, Kalulu, Diaz, Maldini, Colombo, Krunic, Duarte, Kessie.

Official Lille XI (4-4-2): Maignan; Pied, Fonte, Botman, Mandava; Araujo, Xeka, André, Bamba; Yazici, David.

Bench: Karnezis, Chevalier, Djalò, Ikonè, Yilmaz, Lihadji, Weah, Soumaré, Soumaoro, Niasse, Bradaric.
