AC Milan have confirmed the signing of striker Marko Lazetic on a long-term contract as he joins from Serbian side Red Star Belgrade.
In a statement on their official website, the Rossoneri confirm that Lazectic has signed a contract with the club which will run until 30 June 2026. The 18-year-old joins with little first team experience under his belt but he is very highly rated by those in his own country.
Born in Belgrade on 22 January 2004, Lazetic came through the Red Star Belgrade youth ranks before making his first-team debut in November 2020. A loan spell to play for Grafičar followed and he scored 4 goals in 14 appearances for them.
Having returned to Red Star in the summer of 2021, he made his first team debut and this season has has one goal in 16 matches. The statement also confirms that Lazetić will wear the number 22 shirt.
Calciomercato.com are among the sources reporting that the 18-year-old joins €4m plus €1m in bonuses, as well as a percentage of the proceeds from a future resale in favour of the Serbian club, which will be fixed at 10%.
