Official: Massara announced as new AC Milan Sporting Director

The management shake up at Milan has finally come to an end as all parties have been announced. First came Gazidis as CEO then Maldini as Technical Director. Shortly after was Boban the Chief Football Officer and Giampaolo as Manager.

Now Frederic Massara has been revealed as the new Sporting Director of the club. According to the official announcement on the Milan website, the arrangement begins on July 1. After this he will be critical to the transfer market, both arrivals and departures. He will report directly to Maldini.

He has worked as a sporting director for both Palermo and Roma as well as in the technical department for Chinese side, Jiangsu Suning. Massara has played for a number of clubs in both Serie A and Serie B throughout his career. Most notably for Torino, Pescara, and Palermo.
