AC Milan have announced that they will take part in a pre-season friendly against FC Köln in the middle of July. The date and details were announced by the club earlier this morning.
The friendly is a part of the TELEKOM CUP and it will be the 11th edition of the tournament this summer. As per the official website, it will take place in Cologne and it will be played on Saturday July 16, with kick-off scheduled for 19:00 CEST. Tickets will go on general sale on June 14th.
It will be the first pre-season for the Rossoneri and the other games will be announced in the coming weeks. Until then, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will be hoping to get the mercato going, which could unlock this week.
RedBird CEO Gerry Cardinale will meet with Maldini on Wednesday and Thursday to describe the project he has in mind for the club. Therefore, we might get to see a few new signings for the pre-season friendlies.
