AC Milan have officially announced that it will be possible to buy the goalkeeper jerseys with the printing ‘Giroud 9’ on their official website. This, of course, comes after his heroic save against Genoa last night.

“Last night, Olivier Giroud made AC Milan history by courageously defending the Rossoneri goal posts in the final minutes of the match against Genoa. The Club has decided to celebrate his performance as a goalkeeper by adding him to the goalkeepers’ section on the squad page.
“Furthermore, from today, and for a few days, in AC Milan stores and on the official website, it will be possible to purchase the goalkeeper shirt and personalize it with ‘Giroud 9’,” the statement read.
Milan are at the top of the standings thanks to the win and even though the ending was dramatic, it was the perfect morale booster for the entire team. The next game is against Juventus after the international break.
