Official: Milan announce sale of Giacomo Olzer to Brescia – buy-back clause included

By Isak Möller -

Milan have announced the departure of Primavera star Giacomo Olzer to Brescia, which was expected since he essentially was a part of the Sandro Tonali operation. One important detail has been revealed on the matter.

There had been rumours but the Rossoneri have now confirmed that they will have the right to buy Olzer back in the future, i.e. a buy-back clause. Positive news considering that the winger has a lot of potential.

“AC Milan announces that Giacomo Olzer will join Brescia Calcio on a permanent transfer. The deal will include the option for AC Milan to re-sign the player permanently (buy-back clause),” the statement read.

As mentioned, Milan agreed to send the youngster to Brescia as a part of the Tonali operation, for which they managed to secure a huge discount. Given that the Rossoneri announced the midfielder yesterday, this was coming.

We can only wish Olzer the best and hope that he will have a successful spell with the Serie B side, so that Milan will bring him back in the future. The value of the buy-back clause is yet to be revealed.
