Official: AC Milan confirm Ruben Loftus-Cheek signing on deal until 2027

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan have officially confirmed the signing of midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek who has signed a four-year contract with the club.

The deal was confirmed by Milan with a statement on the official website. It confirmed that Loftus-Cheek has signed a contract which will run until June 2027 and he will be the first paid-for signing of the summer.

He is expected to be paid €4m per season and the transfer, including bonuses, could total around €21m.

Loftus-Cheek has been on the books at Premier League side Chelsea for his entire career but has had spells on loan elsewhere. He spent a season on loan at Crystal Palace for the 2017-18 season and then spent the 2020-21 season at Fulham.

He has made 155 Chelsea appearances overall, scoring 13 times and grabbing 18 assists over the years. Much of those appearances were from the bench. He struggled to carve out a role in a team that has bought many expensive midfielders over the years.

    1. Because Milan doesn’t have technical director anymore. They’re gone and now replaced by Cardinale robots who can only say yes to him.

  1. If we miss put on Gravenberch because we wasted the funds on RLC then we can truly say this management is worse than Maldini + Massara

  2. Well at least the fact that so many are already writing off means he can’t disappoint.

How long is he going to be at the club for – do I love him for half a season, one season….it’s not like his contract matters.

  3. Somebody tell Cardinale that this is a soccer team not a baseball team,by the January transfer, Leao, and Theo will be shopped around as they will want to leave.
