Milan Futuro have added two more players to their squad as they bid to avoid relegation to the fourth tier in their first season of existence.

As announced on the official website, the Futuro have signed Simone Ianesi from US Città di Pontedera on a permanent basis. The striker waas born in Udine on 13 February 2002 and came through the Udinese youth sector.

They confirmed shortly after that Michele Camporese has arrived from Cosenza Calcio on a permanent basis. The defender, born in Pisa on 19 May 1992, came through the Fiorentina youth set-up.

He made his senior debut for La Viola in the Coppa Italia in October 2010 and in Serie A in November of the same year in the league match against Milan. During his career he has played, among others, with Empoli, Benevento, Foggia and Cosenza.

It was reported earlier this month that there are multiple additions that Jovan Kirovski and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are expected to make, in order to give a more competitive side to Bonera given the relegation battle. Earlier this month, Andrea Magrassi joined from Cittadella.

  1. We have Origi, just play him instead of ostracising him. He’s already on the books and has experience for the youngings, so why not 🤷‍♂️

    1. Incredibly enough, Origi has plain refused to play for Futuro. They can’t drag him there. It’s not slavery.

Origi just wants to earn his salary and not work. And unfortunately if I understand correctly, there is nothing that Milan can do to change that. Refusing to play for Futuro apparently is not a reason for unilateral termination (his contract must be written in a way that doesn’t allow Milan to just kick him out for refusing to play for Futuro, maybe given that it is a U23 team in Serie C and he was hired to play for an adult team in Serie A).
