Official: Milan handed €5K fine by Sporting Judge after Bologna clash – the reason

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan have been handed a €5K fine following the game against Bologna, which ended 4-2 in favour of the Rossoneri. The Sporting Judge continues to be very strict as the fine relates to the conduct of the fans.

As was revealed in the Sporting Judge’s first batch of fines/suspension for round 9 of Serie A (via MilanNews), Milan will have to pay €5K in fines. During the game, flares and firecrackers were thrown by the fans and that is the reason behind the decision.

It was indeed something to celebrate for the Rossoneri fans even though the team’s performance could have been better. For only the second time in their history, they have won eight of the first nine games in the league (last time was 1954/55).

On Tuesday evening, Milan will be looking to continue their good run of form with another three points. And then, of course, they will have to do their absolute best in the Champions League to have a chance of advancing.
