Official: AC Milan confirm a player has tested positive for Coronavirus

By Isak Möller -

Yesterday, AC Milan announced that Ciprian Tatarusanu has tested positive for Covid-19 and thus will miss at least the two upcoming games. And today, it was confirmed that another player has tested positive.

The Rossoneri are one of the few sides that haven’t had many Covid-19 cases after the Christmas break, but there should perhaps be some concern about the situation. After all, they went from zero positives to two in a very short period of time.

On the club’s official site, it was announced that another player has tested positive for Covid-19. The name wasn’t published as requested by the player, who has the right to keep his privacy intact.

However, as Milan will face Roma on Thursday evening, it will become clear who the player is once the squad is out. In that sense, it’s a bit silly but, then again, that’s the right of the player.
