Official: Pioli names 22-man squad for Fiorentina game – Rebic and Tomori both out

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has named his squad of players for the trip to face Fiorentina at the Stadio Artemio Franchi tonight.

The big update from yesterday was that Ante Rebic sustained a problem in training and therefore will not be available for the game. There is some good news though as Alessio Romagnoli and Junior Messias returned to group training over the break and have been named in the squad, while Samu Castillejo is still out and Davide Calabria picked up a muscle issue on Italy duty.

Below are the 22 players who have been called up for the trip to Florence, as has just been confirmed by the club’s official website. The most notable absentee in addition to Rebic is Fikayo Tomori, with more to come on his condition.

Goalkeepers: Desplanches, Mirante, Tătărușanu.

Defenders: Ballo-Touré, Florenzi, Gabbia, Hernández, Kalulu, Kjær, Romagnoli.

Midfielders: Bakayoko, Bennacer, Díaz, Kessie, Krunić, Messias, Saelemaekers, Tonali.

Forwards: Giroud, Ibrahimović, Leão, Pellegri.
