Official: Milan’s schedule for league phase of Champions League – Liverpool opening clash

UEFA has confirmed the schedule for the League Phase of the Champions League and AC Milan will start their adventure with Liverpool at home. Real Madrid are up in matchday four, while GNK Dinamo will be the last opponent. 

The draw for the league phase of the Champions League took place on Thursday evening and all things considered, Milan got a decent draw. However, they will still be up against the likes of Liverpool and Real Madrid who were drawn from Pot 1.

Today, as sent out to the media, UEFA confirmed the schedule for the league phase and Milan will kick off their adventure with Liverpool at home. Real Madrid will be up in the fourth round, while GNK Dinamo will be the last opponent for the Rossoneri.

Milan’s 2024-25 league phase schedule

  • AC Milan vs. Liverpool: September 17, 21:00.
  • Bayer Leverkusen vs. AC Milan: October 1, 21:00.
  • AC Milan vs. Club Brugge: October 22, 18.45.
  • Real Madrid vs. AC Milan: November 5, 21:00
  • Slovan Bratislava vs. AC Milan: November 26, 18.45
  • AC Milan vs. FK Crvena Zvezda: December 11, 21:00
  • AC Milan vs. Girona: January 22, 21:00
  • GNK Dinamo vs. AC Milan: January 29, 21:00

  1. For AC Milan to be in top 3 position in the standing, AC Milan will need to be decisive in the first four matches which are the most difficult one at least on the paper.

  2. UCL Cup is not a priority rn although reching final will boost the fund. Scudetto is primary and UCL qualification is secondary objective.

    1. The only objective is obviously UCL qualifications. It’s not because Zlatan said that he wants the Scudetto that its true. He also said that Théo is happy. They wouldn’t hire Fonseca if they wanted to win. His last title was at Shakhtar, a team winning its domestic title almost every year, with or without him.
