AC Milan head coach Paulo Fonseca has made a number of changes to the starting XI that will face Parma this evening compared to the side that drew with Torino on the opening day.
It was always likely that Fonseca would make alterations from the line-up that he named a week ago given that new signings and internationals were back in the frame, and indeed there have been changes in every department.
Starting at the back, Mike Maignan has a back four in front of him consisting of Davide Calabria, Fikayo Tomori and the brand new left side of Strahinja Pavlovic and Theo Hernandez.
The midfield double pivot has been overhauled too, with Tijjani Reijnders partnering Yunus Musah in the engine room and Ruben Loftus-Cheek playing in a more advanced role like he did last season.
Christian Pulisic is the right winger which means that Samuel Chukwueze drops to the bench, with Rafael Leao on the other flank and Noah Okafor leading the line as the centre-forward.
Official Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Tomori, Pavlovic, Theo Hernandez; Reijnders, Musah; Pulisic, Loftus-Cheek, Leao, Okafor.
Bench: Torriani, Raveyre, Emerson, Gabbia, Thiaw, Terracciano, Bennacer, Fofana, Chukwueze, Saelemaekers, Jovic.
Official Parma XI (4-2-3-1): Suzuki; Coulibaly, Balogh, Circati, Valeri; Estévez, Sohm; Man, Bernabé, Mihăilă; Bonny.
Bench: Chichizola, Corvi; Del Prato; Camara, Cyprien, Hainaut; Almqvist, Cancellieri, Haj, Kowalski, Mikołajewski.
