Official: Pioli names 22-man squad for Juventus game – six players out through injury

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has named a depleted squad for today’s game against Juventus due to an ongoing injury crisis.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is still suffering with swelling in his Achilles tendon and will not be risked by Pioli, while Tiemoue Bakayoko sustained a calf muscle problem in the win over Lazio and will not be there either.

Davide Calabria suffered physical discomfort in yesterday’s training and did not train today so he will miss the game, and Rade Krunic is still battling a muscle issue in his right calf. Junior Messias is not at his best physical condition and finally Olivier Giroud has back pain and will miss the game against Juve, Pioli has confirmed.

Goalkeepers: Jungdal, Maignan, Tătărușanu.

Defenders: Ballo-Touré, Conti, Florenzi, Gabbia, Hernández, Kalulu, Kjær, Romagnoli, Tomori.

Midfielders: Bennacer, Castillejo, Díaz, Kessie, Saelemaekers, Tonali.

Forwards: Leão, Maldini, Pellegri, Rebić.

  1. Italia FA are dumb ass, they are aware that champions league are played this time around but they failed to protect the clubs playing in the competition
    Milan played Lazio a strong team then played champions league game and playing juventus again
    So they should open their brain and think before putting the fixtures together next time
