Official: Pioli names 22-man squad for Spezia game – Giroud and Calabria return

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has named his squad for the game away at Spezia and has been able to call upon a couple of key names again.

Milan have won four of their first five games to begin the Serie A season and will be looking to put pressure on the teams around them with a 3:00pm CEST kick-off against Spezia on Saturday afternoon.

Milan are still battling an injury crisis of sorts as Simon, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Rade Krunic are unavailable, Junior Messias is not at his best condition, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is battling Achilles swelling and the latest blow is that Alessandro Florenzi is out too.

Below are the 22 players who have been called up for the game, as confirmed by the official website

Defenders: Ballo-Touré, Calabria, Conti, Gabbia, Hernández, Kalulu, Romagnoli, Tomori.

Midfielders: Bennacer, Castillejo, Díaz, Kessie, Saelemaekers, Tonali.

Forwards: Giroud, Leão, Maldini, Pellegri, Rebić.
