Official: Pioli names 23-man squad for Parma clash – Lucas Paqueta left out

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli has named the 23 players that he has called up for the Rossoneri’s home game against Parma on Wednesday.

The Rossoneri are undefeated in all competitions since the break and have won four out of six of their Serie A matches, including wins over Roma, Lazio and Juventus and a hard-fought 2-2 draw with Napoli on Sunday.

However, with a Europa League spot far from guaranteed Stefano Pioli’s side are entering the business end of the season with the pressure still firmly on, starting with the welcoming of Parma, who have won just once since lockdown.

Below is the list of players that Pioli has summoned, as confirmed by the club’s various media channels, with the big headline being the exclusion of Lucas Paqueta – something we are awaiting more information on.

GOALKEEPERS: Begovic, A. Donnarumma, G. Donnarumma.

DEFENDERS: Calabria, Conti, Gabbia, Hernandez, Kjaer, Laxalt, Romagnoli.

MIDFIELDERS: Bennacer, Biglia, Bonaventura, Brescianini, Calhanoglu, Kessie, Krunic, Olzer.

FORWARDS: Colombo, Ibrahimovic, Leão, Maldini, Rebic.
