Official: Pioli names 23-man squad for trip to Parma – three forwards return to action

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli has named his squad for the trip to face Parma tomorrow, and the good news is that three forwards are back.

Milan must put the disappointment of last weekend behind them and return to winning ways when they face Parma on Saturday evening. Pioli’s men have not had the best of starts to 2021 with damaging defeats against Juventus, Atalanta, Inter and Napoli at San Siro in the first three months.

Pioli has insisted that his side have ‘no fears or anxieties’ heading into the business end of the season, and he will have a healthy squad to pick from, with Mario Mandzukic, Rafael Leao and Brahim Diaz all returning to feature in the squad.

Below are the 23 players that Pioli has summoned for the short trip…

Goalkeepers: A. Donnarumma, G. Donnarumma, Tătărușanu.

Defenders: Dalot, Gabbia, Hernández, Kalulu, Kjær, Tomori.

Midfielders: Bennacer, Çalhanoğlu, Castillejo, Díaz, Hauge, Kessie, Krunić, Meïte, Saelemaekers, Tonali.

Forwards: Ibrahimović, Leão, Mandžukić, Rebić.
