Official: Pioli names 23-man squad for Köln vs. Milan – Florenzi and Kalulu included

By Isak Möller -

Stefano Pioli has named his squad ahead of AC Milan’s clash against Köln this evening. 23 players have been called up in total and many of them are youngsters, but there are also some experienced players.

The friendly clash, scheduled for 19:00 CEST, is part of the 2022 edition of Telekom Cup and it will be Milan’s first real pre-season test. If you want more information on how to watch the game, you can read our article about it here.

Just a few minutes ago, Milan sent out the squad list to the media and also explained that the players that recently returned to training will continue to work at Milanello. Alessandro Florenzi and Pierre Kalulu, however, have been included.

Goalkeepers: Tatarusanu, Mirante.

Defenders: Kalulu, Ballo Toure, Gabbia, Florenzi, Michelis, Coubis, Stanga, Bartesaghi.

Midfielders: Brescianini, Pobega, Bakayoko, Gala, Robotti, Adli.

Forwards: Traore, Giroud, Rebic, Messias, Diaz, Maldini, Roback.

Pioli is expected to field a similar XI to the one we saw against Lemine, but with Kalulu and Stanga in defence instead. Giroud should also get the chance from start after getting a day off during the last friendly.
