Official: Sassuolo vs. AC Milan starting XIs – five changes from Bologna win

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has made five changes to the starting line-up that will face Sassuolo compared to the team that beat Bologna on Saturday night.

Mike Maignan will start in goal while Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez remain as part of the back four, but Alessandro Florenzi and Simon Kjaer have come in for Davide Calabria and Pierre Kalulu respectively.

Tommaso Pobega and Ismael Bennacer form the double pivot with Sandro Tonali rested. Alexis Saelemaekers has been given the nod over Junior Messias on the right flank, with Rafael Leao on the opposite wing.

Charles De Ketelaere is back to starting on the bench as Brahim Diaz returns from minute one, and Olivier Giroud will be asked to work overtime with Divock Origi and Ante Rebic both out.
