Official: Hellas Verona vs. AC Milan starting XIs – Pioli makes two changes

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has made two changes to the starting line-up for the game against Hellas Verona compared to the team that beat Fiorentina a week ago.

The Rossoneri are currently one point behind Inter (who played on Friday) and will thus be looking to retake the lead in the Scudetto race tonight. Pioli, as said, has decided to make two changes and they are both in attack.

Alexis Saelemaekes will replace Junior Messias, who was rather invisible on the right flank last time out. Furthermore, Rade Krunic will replace Brahim Diaz behind Olivier Giroud and he will be hoping to find the back of the net at Stadio Bentegodi again.

Official Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Kalulu, Tomori, Theo; Tonali, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Krunic, Leao; Giroud.

Bench:Mirante, Tătărușanu; Ballo-Touré, Florenzi, Gabbia, Romagnoli; Bakayoko, Bennacer, Díaz, Messias; Ibrahimović, Rebić.

Official Verona XI (3-4-2-1): Montipo; Casale, Gunter, Ceccherini; Faraoni, Tameze, Ilic, Lazovic; Barak, Caprari; Simeone.

Bench: Berardi, Boseggia, Chiesa; Depaoli, Frabotta, Retsos, Šutalo; Hongla, Praszelik, Veloso; Cancellieri, Lasagna.

  1. I don’t really trust Saladmaker and Krunic as starters, but anyway, best of luck and Forza Milan ♥️ 🖤🤞

    1. No one can be worse than Diaz. You keep insulting these 2 but nobody mentions when we play 10v11 with Diaz on the field.

  2. I hope the people who suggested us to either sell or loan out tonali even before we bought him while on loan from brescia has learned a lesson or two here or maybe even before 😀
