Official: Torino vs. AC Milan starting XIs – one change from Feyenoord draw

AC Milan head coach Sergio Conceicao has named his starting line-up for this evening’s game against Torino, and there is just one change.

Milan were dumped out of the Champions League in the play-off round after losing 2-1 on aggregate to Feyenoord on Tuesday night, so now the main mission for the season is to get a top four finish.

However, it will not be an easy game against a Torino side who have lost just once in 2025, and also the Rossoneri have won just one of their last 11 away league games against today’s opponents.

Official starting XIs

Milan are without the injured trio of Alessandro Florenzi, Emerson Royal and Ruben Loftus-Cheek once again. In addition, Kyle Walker has picked up a slight muscular problem and will not be risked.

Conceicao has named a back four of Alex Jimenez, Fikayo Tomori, Strahinja Pavlovic and Theo Hernandez ahead of the goalkeeper Mike Maignan. Yunus Musah and Tijjani Reijnders remain the midfield double pivot.

Christian Pulisic starts on the right wing with Rafael Leao on the opposite flank, then Joao Felix operating behind the striker Santiago Gimenez.

Official Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Jimenez, Tomori, Pavlovic, Theo; Musah, Reijnders; Pulisic, Felix, Leao; Gimenez.

  1. Favorable results for Milan this morning.
Let’s see if they have the fight and self respect to fix the mess they have created. With over a third of the season left to play and playing once a week, they have no excuses to not finish top 4.

  2. Musah deserves to start. He played well in the game against Feyenoord at the San Siro. I am happy to see him finally playing consistently in midfield in the double pivot role alongside Reinjders.

Fofana deserves to be benched but he is a bit fatigued and need rest. Now let’s hope Bondo can give Reinjders a little rest in the 2nd half.

This is a good starting 11.

    1. Lol, Musah over Fofana? Fofana, a player everyone was desperate to bring in over the summer and who cost us near the top of our budget?

  3. Having people who can effect the game massively coming off the bench is also key, either to see out a lead or turn things around if needed. That’s why I believe at least one of the so-called ‘fantastic 4’ must come off the bench.

  4. I think the reason why the coach fields the “fab 4” consistently is because he’s trying to kill off games in the first half and then see off games in the second. Also I hate that after the Feyernood game, it was a pain to post a comment. I just gave up totally. I hope it’s not the same this time. I also hope this comment goes through.

  5. Thiaw starting? Tomori is on the bench and in the starting lineup, Think Thiaw have been really good lately and provide runs and passes through the lines. If we continue like we started in Feyenoord we should see positive result

  6. Lazio failed to win, Bologna lost, and were 1-0 down thanks to another absolute stupidity. This club is full of clowns. Absolute clown show. I’m becoming embarrassed at this point.

  7. Maignan… Guys, please stop criticizing Conceicao. Look at the significant mistakes our players make day in, day out. I don’t want to hear anything negative about Conceicao anymore. You could put Ancelotti or Klopp on the sidelines, and it wouldn’t make a difference.

    1. Yeh this is getting ridiculous at this point. What’s Sergio supposed to do when his players are regressing like Benjamin Button?

  8. It was a long time ago but I don’t remember Rossi making this many gaffs in one season… he says as Maignan sends the ball into the stands from a goal kick….

  9. Don’t blame the coach for players stupidity. That goal was as stupid as it gets. Maignan letting in the goal at Feyenoord was 1st grade mistake, Theo red was another dumb mistake, Musah red against Zagreb was another mistake – nothing to do with the coach.

Musah just got a yellow for another act of stupidity.

    1. So many mistakes. So if it’s not the coach we have a group of terrible players. And it’s often the same players. But then I guess we can’t get rid of Maignan, Theo, Tomori AND Leao, right?

      1. As long as we have this clown management, Milan isn’t going anywhere. They are the ones who bring players in – Conceicao took over mentally weak and broken team and there isn’t much he can do. I don’t think any coach would help at this point – only way is to try to sell 75% of the team and build from there but then again, we don’t have management that is capable to creating a competitive squad.

    2. Don’t even know why we were hinging on one player for blame. There’s alot to go around. Players making silly decisions all season. Many of them

  10. This players can’t play football to even save their lives ,this are over rated players ,the front 4 players are over rated and can’t stand against any club confidently

  11. Thiaw is a better passer than all of our midfielders it’s embarrassing.
I am yet to understand what Musah does in this team apart from running around that warrants him being a starter in this team. Oh I know why, Conceiçao loves players that can run around and not technically gifted. Lol

  12. Also, there’s a lot of silence on this site after Pulisic bottled a penalty. Chuk would be destroyed if he even missed a penalty. lol.

    1. If anyone is allowed a f*ckup right now, it’s him, but even this rare mistake is compounded by all of the other mistakes we’ve made this season.

    1. I don’t think it is a Joao Felix problem, think the problem is the combination of the midfield, we play with two mazzala and shadow striker. If he gonna play we need two holding midfielders. If Musa and Raijnders is playing CM we dont need Felix, we need Fofana behind them

    2. My opinion exactly. Don’t blame the coach for the excessive mistakes from his players, but it appears he’s sabotaging himself. Joao Felix should be brought out in second half so that Tijjani will play as AM, while Musa and Fofana play in the middle.

  13. If conceicao doesnt sub off that useless musah who’s already on a yellow at the beginning lf the second half, then he is not worthy to coach Milan

  14. Prime Example of what Pre-notions does to people mind:
Type1: players playing same(with some style), same results but it’s coach problem hence fonseca out
Type2: Almost better players on paper playing same(without any style), same results but its players and management issue hence why calling out conciecao

  15. Our setup was so bad I couldn’t tell who was the right back, Jiminez or Musah. At a point in time I thought Musah was RB, RW and double pivot lol.
Time for Torriani to get some game time so Mike can reset. Been too many mistakes recently. Even before the goal he had another butter finger moment.
Only good thing was that goal was early and we have time to make amends

    1. They could with Fofana and Bondo as pivots and Reijnders as AM. But then again there’s no cover from the bench. Sad, after 250 millions down the drain.

      1. Or concede .. that’s apparently an option too /S
🥴. Jiminez is getting roasted on the right there. That was just poor concentration and awareness. Players don’t get in front of the ball anymore for short kicks or something? There’s so much wrong with this team’s skills and experience

  16. Wow. Just as soon as we tie it up, we go back down. Players bullsh!tting. Honestly I think we’re basically back to banter era. No UCL next season, a bunch of overpaid error prone ineffective players. I just don’t know where we go from here.

  17. Wow, what a shit show. To be honest, Maignan is just an average goalkeeper – he has been pretty bad lately. He should have saved that shot.

  18. So we don’t have anyone who can take a free kick, we don’t have anyone who can deliver decent corner kick, we don’t have anyone who can score from penalty spot and now we don’t have a goalie that can stop a shot – to make matters worse, he is making dumb plays that cost us games. Wow!

  19. So what at all was Pulisic doing in the game? Very Awful….
Tired and unprepared for balls…. hos attitude in the game was very dreadful.
My trust for this Coach is very very low….
If you will sub Leao then Puli should have gone for a very long time as well…. No supply for Strikers as well. Hmmmm….. getting tje forth position will be a miracle from what i see.

  20. Please enough since we have lost against Torino I humbly advised that we should be playing the 4-4-2 formation until next season after we have bought players to start with
