Official: Torino vs. AC Milan starting XIs – five changes from Dinamo win

By Isak Möller -

Stefano Pioli has decided to make five changes to the starting XI for tonight’s clash between AC Milan and Torino. Brahim Diaz, who has fully recovered from his minor injury, is back from the first minute.

The Rossoneri are eager to build on their winning streak in the league, currently on four games, and they also need to keep up with Napoli at the top. Tonight’s clash, as such, is a very important one for them.

As said, Pioli has made five changes to the XI as Fikayo Tomori is back from serving a suspension in the Champions League. Tommaso Pobega will give Sandro Tonali some rest in the middle, while Junior Messias has got the nod on the right flank.

Brahim Diaz is back from start, as said, and Divock Origi is the starting striker for the Rossoneri this evening. Olivier Giroud will most likely start against Salzburg on Wednesday, and thus the rest will do him good.

Official Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Kalulu, Gabbia, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Tonali, Pobega; Messias, Diaz, Leao; Origi.

Bench: Jungdal, Mirante; Ballo-Touré, Dest, Kjær, Thiaw; Adli, Bakayoko, Bennacer, Krunić, Vranckx; De Ketelaere, Giroud, Rebić.

Official Torino XI (3-4-2-1): Milinković-Savić; Djidji, Schuurs, Buongiorno; Singo, Lukić, Ricci, Lazaro; Vlašić, Mirančuk; Pellegri.

Bench: Fiorenza, Gemello; Bayeye, Rodríguez, Vojvoda, Zima; Adopo, Garbett, Karamoh, Linetty; Seck, Radonjić.

  1. For many of you commenting, I’m sure you can see what a poor half the trio of leao~ Diaz ~ Messias were.. Pioli may have been credited for many reasons but trust me, if this team faces established team like Bayern, Real, the premier league big six….embarrassment will be just an understatement… What a poor team and a poor coach.. no creativity of any sort, no seriousness, no intensity no urgency in their play and worse no game plan.

  2. We should have been in front with two goals before the tenth minute but as bleak as things now looks for us at half time, a quick response after the break can easily turn this game around so im not totally without hope for a comeback and hopefully a victory but damn that was a disapointing first half.

  3. Yea the chances miss were disappointing and the defence also messed up. I think Kjær is crucial for us and people go on so harsh on him even though he plays good every game but they just say Milan are dumb to put him over Gabbia

  4. I wonder if leao is worth 5M annually going by his inconsistency! And it was a pure error for not fixing the right wing by Maldini! It would be luck if we fought for the scudetto going into February
