Official: AC Milan vs. Salernitana starting XIs – Bakayoko and Pellegri start

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has made a number of changes to the starting line-up that will face Salernitana today compared to the one that beat Genoa in midweek.

Mike Maignan will be in goal again with a defence of Florenzi, Fikayo Tomori, Alessio Romagnoli and Theo Hernandez ahead of him as Simon Kjaer misses out after undergoing surgery on a knee ligament injury. In midfield it will be a double pivot of Franck Kessie and Tiemoue Bakayoko with Sandro Tonali returning to the bench.

Alexis Saelemaekers, Brahim Diaz and Rafael Leao will be in the trident behind striker Pietro Pellegri, who gets his first start of the season with Zlatan Ibrahimovic given some time to rest.
