Official: Kevin Zeroli signs contract renewal with AC Milan until 2028

By Ben Dixon -

AC Milan have announced that Primavera captain Kevin Zeroli has signed an extension with the club, which will expire in June 2028 – his previous deal with the club was signed last year and was due to expire in June 2027.

The current crop of Primavera talent is heavily respected, and there is a lot of excitement around the club about which players will excel in professional football – one of the headliners on this list is Kevin Zeroli.

Zeroli, a 19-year-old central midfielder, is a boyhood Milan fan, having grown up in Busto Arsizio, and has consistently shone amongst the Primavera ranks in recent years whilst translating these performances to the international stages in recent years.

Furthermore, he has already been elected by Ignazio Abate as the Primavera captain, which is a testament to his leadership qualities at such a young age and another point where fans can be excited about the qualities that he possesses.

On the international stage, he has been very important for the Italian National Team’s Under-19 squad, where he was described as the ‘protagonist’ of the recent international break, scoring two goals in the process against Scotland and Georgia.

Given he only signed his first professional deal with the club last year, and the extension is only an extra year, it is to be believed that the new contract will give the club extra security over his future whilst offering Zeroli a statement of the club’s belief in him.

The official announcement of the youngster’s extension was announced on the Rossoneri’s website.

“AC Milan is pleased to announce that Kevin Zeroli has renewed his contract with the Club until 30 June 2028,” the statement starts.

“Kevin, who joined AC Milan in 2010, has worn the captain’s armband for the Primavera this season. On 30 December 2023, the young midfielder made his first-team debut in the Rossoneri’s 1-0 victory over Sassuolo at San Siro.”

The young midfielder debuted for the senior side in December, and hopes are very high for his future, which this new contract will only further signify.

  1. Start incorporating these kids, now. We know the outcome of this season so give them the introduction they need ready for 24/25.

    1. 100%. Zeroli could eventually take over from RLC as AM (if he continues to develop and if we continue to use an attacking midfielder.

    1. Im ok with that approach but if we for example lose the next 2 serie a matches then i would be more hesitant to do so because then we might actually drop down in the ranking and has to fight for the second place but if we still has juventus at some distance then im absolutely fine with some youth players getting some more minutes.

  2. Let me repeat again: we have young side better than anything we had in the last may be 20 years. And we need a coach like Xavi that would not afraid of playing them on the highest level. There is no reason why Pioli stopped playing them.

  3. Seeing Barcelona deploy kids although they battle hard on two fronts, makes me wonder. Even Juventus are doing it. And here we have the likes of Zeroli and Simić who performed and play in positions we clearly lack.

Cubarsi from Barcelona is attending school in the morning after playing CL game against PSG for crying out loud. Yet he’s being considered game in game out.

  4. Ac Milan and Série A in general should start giving serious proper chance to youngsters. Youngters elsewhere are developing better and at the end of the day they have better leagues and national team than the Azzuri

  5. Don’t want to sound negative but more realistic….he probably isn’t going to get much game time with us. If I were him I’d go out on loan
