Official: AC Milan vs. Porto starting XIs – four changes made from Roma win

Head coach Stefano Pioli has made several changes to AC Milan’s starting XI to face Porto compared to the team that won away against Roma on Sunday.

Ciprian Tatarusanu in goal with Davide Calabria, Fikayo Tomori, Alessio Romagnoli and Theo Hernandez the back four ahead of him. Then the double pivot is comprised of Sandro Tonali and Ismael Bennacer despite suggestions throughout the last few days that Kessie might get the nod.

Alexis Saelemaekers, Brahim Diaz and Rafael Leao are the attacking trident behind the centre-forward Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic will start on the bench ready to make an impact. Brahim is back in after also missing the last few games due to Covid.

Bench: Mirante, Jungdal, Ibrahimovic, Kalulu, Kjaer, Maldini, Krunic, Bakayoko, Gabbia, Kessie

Official Porto XI (4-4-2): Diogo Costa; Joao Mario, Pepe, Mbemba, Zaidu; Otavio, Uribe, Sergio Oliveira, Luis Diaz; Taremi, Evanilson.

Bench: Marechesin, Fabio Cardoso, Francisco Conceiçao, Pepê, Grujic, Corona, Manafà, Vitinha, Bruno Costa, Toni Martinez, Nanu, Fabio Vieira.
