Okafor assures Milan want revenge vs. Udinese: “We have to do better”

By Isak Möller -

Ahead of the clash between AC Milan and Udinese this evening, the forward Noah Okafor shared his thoughts on what the Rossoneri will need to do to win. He also stated that it’s nice to be back on the pitch, following a period on the sidelines.

Okafor recently recovered from a thigh injury, coming off the bench in the 3-1 win against Roma last weekend. He will not play from start tonight, as Stefano Pioli has decided to make no XI changes, but an appearance during the game is indeed likely for the Swiss international.

Speaking to MilanTV ahead of tonight’s game, as cited by MilanNews, Okafor shared his thoughts on the recent recovery from injury. He also briefly spoke about the clash, stating that Milan need to do better than the first leg (1-0 defeat).

On his recovery…

“I’m fine. Injuries happen in football, but it’s nice to be back on the pitch.”

On tonight’s match…

“Today is a different match compared to the first leg, we have to do better tonight.”

Milan will be looking to make it four consecutive wins in the league tonight, as well as six unbeaten, but it might not be an easy game away form home. Albeit Udinese have struggled so far, this fixture always seems to be difficult for the Rossoneri.
