Ole: Milan, Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea not ruled out of the running for Messi

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have been named as one of the eight possible destinations for Lionel Messi this summer by Argentine outlet Ole.

Barcelona have apparently confirmed on Tuesday that they have received the fax from Lionel Messi confirming his intention to leave the club during the summer transfer window.

The Argentine has asked to be able to terminate his agreement through the unilateral clause that would allow him to leave the club on a free transfer.

However, the club are arguing that this clause expired on 10 June and that the contract is in the hands of the lawyers ready to respond to the player’s request, at least as per RAC1 (via MilanNews).

Nonetheless, Argentine outlet Ole have decided to take a look at the possible destination for the 33-year-old, and Milan feature on the list.

They state that Milan dreams of fighting for titles again both in Italy and in Europe and that Elliott Management have plenty of money to be able to splash out and make an investment that would turn the heads of world football.

Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal are also mentioned as being potential destinations, as are Inter, Juventus and PSG.
