It was on this day nine years ago that AC Milan were crowned Champions of Italy for an 18th time, tying city rivals Inter for the joint second-most in the history of Serie A.
Milan came into the game on a five-match winning run in the league, which included a 3-0 derby victory over Inter and wins over Sampdoria and Fiorentina, and other results meant only a point was needed at the Olimpico against Roma.
It was far from a classic match, but in the end it was arguably the sweetest goalless draw in recent memory and the celebrations went on long into the night.
