Theo Hernandez’s goodbye message to AC Milan has caused a bit of a stir, and the management have been left ‘upset’ by it.
This week, Theo’s Milan exit was confirmed, and after his stay at the club, a message was expected. Focusing on the nicities of his time with the Rossoneri was a given, however, there was always a risk of a bit more.

This season has been difficult, yes. So, with the club going down a different direction, and reports showing confusion about his situation, the aftermath was difficult to predict.
Values: The magic word
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the management have been left upset by the use of the word ‘values’ in Theo’s departure statement.
“My decision to leave was not an easy one. I have always known where I wanted to be, and AC Milan has always been my priority. But, unfortunately, not everything depends on one person. The direction the club has taken and some recent decisions do not reflect the values or ambition that brought me here.”

This season, the defender has been engulfed by controversy, on and off the pitch. From the cooling incident to the contracts, there has been non stop drama with the Frenchman. In fact, the report goes back to the Scudetto season comparing it to now; a model professional to a social media player.
Of course, there were mistakes made last year by the club. Perhaps, this could be what was referred to, maybe just the way that negotiations went with the management.
The report ends simply, there is a way to say goodbye, and Theo failed to achieve it. It would have been better to leave quietly, though this was never going to happen and there is a bitter taste left.

If you’re a real Milan supporter, you have to admit this new management derailed a promising project and has made things worse each year.
It’s nothing to admit here. It’s a fact.
I still don’t understand what he said wrong? why did you add so silly post? he said fully truth.
.
Forza Milan, forza Theo!
They (you) all upset bcoz its true, we all know it, we all seen it!
Theo said and did nothing wrong all fault lies with the management. Bring Paulo back immediately.
Yes Maldini made that difference but this management ruined it
To be fair, no one will ever accuse Theo of being classy or having values.
haha that’s true
Milan’s management is angry that Theo told the truth: we no longer have the values we had before, we no longer have the ambition to win trophies and be the biggest team in the world, now we are just a Supermarket for other teams.
The truth hurts…
Of course they are upset with the truth he told, they’re narcissistic and egotripping leeches. Wouldn’t expect any less.
When I read the word narcissistic I can imagine Theo too, who put the team aside with his attitudes. TBH good riddance
What he said about the management is true but he also failed to admit to his own wrongs also regardless the personal goals contribution. His attitude in some or most games was so wrong and unworthy of Milan But the management also doesn’t have those value worthy of milan also ForzaMilan
Can we move on already?
Sorry Sempremilan, but Theo has been an excellent player for a few years straight for us, giving his all. If he’s unhappy with the management, because it’s just terrible, he has every right to say it and if you’re a true Milan supporter, you will agree with him
Theo who?
Forza Milan. The work is ahead. not behind.
Well a management and ownership that reflect the values of Milan, which Maldini mentioned when he asked for reinforcements and keep the core of a winning team renews Kessie no questions asked. We had the budget to pay 6.5 million each starting eleven players and a competent backup in each position. We would have 21 scudetti by now and even more sponsorship income.
They messed up a project that required one good signing per year with adequate renewals. We had no need to sell anyone financially.
Now we are loosing races for 9 to 20 million euro players to mediocre PL teams and Turkish league teams, with no European football.
We said it since they came in, their first decisions reaked of a lack of ambition. A club of our stature should not be declaring profits when losing our best players through sales or failing to renew irreplaceable assets. CONSISTENTLY FAILED SINCE REDBIRD ARRIVED. EVERY YEAR.
💯💯💯💯💯💯 @chrisp
FACTS!!
Said many years ago after they replaced the winning management team that they’d never sniff the Scudetto much less a UCL semi, not with they their attitude. Anyone with a brain can see through their attitude and arrogance.
This is how not to do management 101… should be a course at Harvard
Of course this current 🤡 management messed things up, and they continue to do so… Unceremoniously dismissing Maldini & Massara started the downward spiral the club is in right now…
Welche Werte lassen iIh. Nach Saudi-Arabien reisen?
its a fact anyway.
Butt hurt management
He told the truth and they got in their feelings haha 😅. Why the didn’t get upset too when Tijji said they didn’t have sporting ambition? Lol ok
The managements reputation proceeds them. Sadly, this is for all the wrong reasons….
Neil Warnock gave an honest opinion of the modern game: “manage the personality of the player and your 90% there”.
These charlatans have done everything but that.
