‘The train has passed’ – Ordine doesn’t believe in Milan’s Scudetto chances

Today, reports have suggested that internally, AC Milan believe they can still have a shot at the Scudetto. However, it may not be a popular view.

With the win against Torino and Inter’s failure to beat Fiorentina, there is belief among some inside the club that the Scudetto may still be possible. Even after the recent losses against Parma and Lazio.

Those games could haunt the Rossoneri at the end of the season. Alternatively, they may have been the push needed for Milan to end the season strongly. It is a difficult one to weigh up, and feelings will be confirmed in eight games’ time.

Ordine makes Scudetto admission

This morning, it was reported that Massimiliano Allegri is looking forward to the game against Napoli, where he can put pressure on Cristian Chivu, the Inter boss, whilst also strengthening the Diavolo’s own Champions League hopes, if nothing else.

However, Franco Ordine does not believe that the title is still possible, and he admitted this on the Pressing show, via MilanNews.

“Milan can’t win the Scudetto. The train has already passed, they didn’t have to perform such a feat, the five points lost against Parma would have been enough…”

  1. We need to win our matches not for the scudetto but for the Champions League. Our goal is to get back to the champions league. We are 4 players away from winning a Serie A title. Right now we need to beat Napoli. And if we get the title then fine, but out primary goal is the champions league.

  2. I still don’t understand how the Parma GK didn’t get sent off for breaking RLC’s jaw without even touching the ball. We didn’t even get a Pen for it.
Then they allowed Parma to score a goal illegally (which they then disallowed the EXACT SAME GOAL AGAINST THEM THE WEEK AFTER THAT).

The Parma match should have been a Milan win,
That topped with the disallowed Pulisic goal against Sassuolo, and Milan would have been just 1 point off from Inter at this stage.

And I haven’t even talked about the other refereeing mistakes all season (Like Gabbia getting Rugby Tackled before Pisa scored their 2-1 goal).

And then on the opposite end, Bastoni should have been sent off against Juventus, and their match against Cremonese should have resulted in a 3-0 default loss for that firecracker thrown at Audero.

If officiating was actually fair, Milan would be 1st in the league.
