AC Milan suffered their most damaging result of the season so far at San Siro on Sunday night as they were beaten 1-0 by Parma.
Milan missed a number of big chances to take the lead, coming closes with Rafael Leao’s volley that hit the inside of the post. Then, in the closing minutes, Parma got what would prove to be a controversial winning goal as Troilo headed in a corner.

It was initially ruled out for a foul, yet after a VAR review the goal was given. It means that the unbeaten streak ends on 24 games, with Inter now 10 points clear at the top, meaning the Scudetto battle has probably ended too.
Brilliance ‘lost in Bologna’
Franco Ordine published his weekly editorial in Corriere dello Sport and provided a reflection on the game on Sunday but also what we have seen in previous matches too. MilanNews relayed his comments.
“Leao hit the inside of the post and tried later, with the introduction of Fullkrug, to return to his favourite streak without getting a single play of his own,” he said.

“With Rabiot careful not to get booked (he was a yellow card away from suspension) and without Loftus-Cheek, who left the pitch immediately after the serious collision with Corvi (season over, he will undergo surgery for a fractured alveolar bone), the other options available didn’t work.
“It’s not a question, as you can see, of play or ball possession, because Milan were at the heart of the match and in complete control, especially in the second half. It’s a question of aim, precision, and the brilliance that was lost that night in Bologna.
“Since then, it’s as if the magic has been interrupted. A draw (against Como) and a defeat (against Parma) in the space of four days are a warning bell. Watch out for those chasing behind.”

He is not wrong. We still need to play vs Napoli, Inter, Juventus, Atalanta.
The way Milan is playing right now, where Leao and Pulisic are not effective at all, Nkunku and Fulkrug also lagging, and our midfield unable to continue to win us games, I honestly dont see us winning any of those head to heads, we will be lucky to get draws.
I fear yesterdays loss may affect the players mentally, and Allegri’s system is showing cracks. Top 4 is not guaranteed
