Tuttosport: Origi’s arrival does not prevent Ibra’s stay but renewal talks could be postponed

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan could postpone talks over Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s future until the end of the season, according to the latest reports.

This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) writes that Milan are negotiating with the entourage of Divock Origi, a striker who will leave Liverpool at the end of the season in search of a new project and would be a welcome reinforcement.

The eventual and increasingly probable arrival of the 26-year-old Belgian though would not exclude the idea of Ibrahimovic staying for the 2022-23 season and signing another one-year extension.

As reported by the newspaper, the renewal of the Swede will be discussed in late spring, if not at the end of the season. The Rossoneri management seem ready to keep the 40-year-old for another year, but Zlatan has not yet made a decision. Of course, it will depend on various factors such as his condition and prospects for the future.

      1. bb, 3-5-2 really? Maybe we should get Allegri back then..
1 we are first in the league so why change a good working system.
2 we would only have to make more transfers. Kalulu, Tomori, Kjaer, Botman is not enough to cover 3 spaces. Origi, Zlatan and Giroud would not be enough to cover 2 spaces.

So no, system we have is a no brainer and we have the right selection to cover that
