Tuttosport: Origi just the start – Milan have three others targets for big summer window

By Oliver Fisher -

The rumours surrounding Milan’s summer transfer market have begun to gather momentum with updates arriving on several players.

According to what is reported by this morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via SempreMilan.it), steps have been taken to sign Divock Origi. He should be part of Stefano Pioli’s squad for next season and would arrive on a free transfer with a contract worth €3.5m a year.

Once the attacking department is completed, the management are ready to make further signings to strengthen their squad with Sven Botman, Domenico Berardi and Renato Sanches the most eligible names.

Regarding Botman, the management like him a lot and want him to join Kalulu, Kjaer and Tomori as part of the centre-back department, with Gabbia the fifth choice. Alessio Romagnoli on the other hand is one step away from Lazio. The alternative to Botman is Bremer of Torino.

Kessie’s farewell is a done deal as the Ivorian will not renew with Milan and will join Barcelona at the end of the season. Renato Sanches is the man Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara want to replace him as he has physicality but also great technical quality and tactical intelligence. The return of Tommaso Pobega from Torino must also be considered.

Berardi is a serious target for Milan and Sassuolo are asking for €30m at the moment, a figure considered high but one that could be reached with the sale of Samu Castillejo. Alexis Saelemaekers could be switched to a full-back – his natural role at Anderlecht – the report adds.

  1. Berardi, Origi, Sanches, Botman. This is pretty good if possible.

Focus on winning the scudetto and we might as well add someone Dybala to the squad.

We easily would reign over Italy with this kind of a squad.
