Romano: Origi ‘more than tempted’ to join Milan – ‘huge chances’ he leaves Liverpool

AC Milan seem to be heading towards signing Divock Origi on a free transfer as the player is ‘tempted’ by the idea of joining, a report claims.

According to the latest from Fabrizio Romano, Origi is ‘more than tempted’ by the contract that Milan have offered and there are ‘talks in progress with his agents’ in order to ‘complete the verbal agreement as soon as possible’.

He adds that the Liverpool board knows there are ‘huge chances’ that Origi will leave them as a free agent. The Belgian has struggled for playing time throughout his spell at Anfield given the forwards in front of him in the pecking order.

The 26-year-old would certainly add some youth to a centre-forward department that is currently relying on the 40-year-old Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the 35-year-old Olivier Giroud, but also some experience given he is a Belgium international and has won several trophies with Liverpool.
