Napoli are refusing to give up on the fitness of star striker Victor Osimhen when it comes to the Champions League matches against AC Milan, a report claims.
As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, the Nigerian striker is certainly going to be out of the Serie A clash being played between the two sides, but there is more focus on the Champions League matches.
The two sides are set to face off in the quarter-finals with the first leg taking place on Wednesday, April 12.
Napoli were in training on Saturday morning ahead of Milan’s visit in Serie A and Osimhen was undergoing physical therapy rather than anything involving a ball.
That shows that the muscle injury is very serious given he was nowhere near joining the rest of the team on the grass, who were playing a match on a reduced-size pitch and doing tactic-specific exercises to prepare for the game.
