AC Milan scored a nice goal in their 1-1 draw against Padova yesterday, courtesy of Lorenzo Ossola, but they also could have done better on the goal conceded.
To keep up the energy during the break and to test some of those who haven’t been playing as much, Ruben Amorim scheduled a friendly against the Serie B side Padova yesterday. Both teams found the back of the net, so the game ended in a 1-1 draw.

Lorenzo Ossola was the goalscorer for Milan and as you can see in the video below, Ruben Loftus-Cheek did really well to set him up. It was just a case of putting his foot through it, although the youngster also deserves praise for that.

Padova equalised through Filippo Sgarbi and it’s safe to say that Milan could have defended better on that one. Matteo Gabbia didn’t do enough to keep track of his men and the header was then converted at the back post, with no one marking the goalscorer either.

Anyway, the scoreline wasn’t the most important thing. Amorim tested the 4-2-3-1 formation once again, so it’s possible that we could see a switch from the 3-4-2-1 in the coming weeks, if not already for the Sassuolo game.
