In today’s Italian papers, reports suggest that Gianluigi Donnarumma will, after all, sign a new contract with AC Milan, while Genoa continue to press for Lapadula.

Today, Gigio Donnarumma will sign is a new contract with AC Milan. the young goalkeeper will earn €6m per year and there will be a release clause added in the contract; €50m if Milan miss out on Champions League, €100m if they manage to qualify. 

Genoa have not given up on Gianluca Lapadula, who they consider a perfect replacement to Giovanni Simeone. Milan have set a €15m price-tag on the striker. 

Conti-Milan have hit a major roadblock. Thomas Foket, who Atalanta had signed as a replacement to Conti, failed his medical. This means that Atalanta still need to find a replacement, which will take a few days. Therefore, Conti’s move to Milan will not be announced before Sunday.

The new agreement reached between Donnarumma and Milan also included the return of Gigio’s brother, Antonio. The 26-year-old will earn €1m per year. 

Hakan Calhanoglu will earn €2.5m plus bonuses per year with AC Milan. He has signed a four-year contract.

Lucas Biglia’s move to AC Milan has stalled as the Rossoneri are not willing to meet Lazio’s asking price. In fact, AC Milan are already looking for other options, mainly Milan Badelj and Grzegorz Krychowiak.

AC Milan are working hard to bring Simon Kjaer back to the Serie A. They already have the player’s consent on a move, but need to find an agreement with Fenerbahce.

After signing six new players, Mirabelli is working on closing yet another deal. When Donnarumma has renewed his contract, then Mirabelli will try to close the deal for either Kalinic or Conti.

Milan are closing in on Conti. The deal is set to be closed shortly at €23m plus technical counterparts (Matteo Pessina). 

Today, there will be a meeting between Mino Raiola and AC Milan to define Donnarumma’s new contract. Gigio’s family has also arrived in Milan, and the young goalkeeper is even ready to give up on his exams to discuss the renewal.
