Paper Talk: Romagnoli considered unsellable; Bonucci offered to Milan

By Isak Möller -

Today’s Italian papers suggest that Romagnoli is considered unsaleable, while Bonucci was offered to Milan, among other things.

La Gazzetta Dello Sport

Milan are preparing a €60m offer for Aubameyang, which they will present to Borussia Dortmund when the Chinese transfer market ends on Friday, should Tianjin Quanjian fail to sign the Gabonese striker. The Rossoneri are ready to offer Aubameyang €7.5m per year and could even meet with Dortmund during the ICC tour in China. Kalinic remains the alternative for Milan.

Yesterday, Leonardo Bonucci was offered to Milan and there were reports suggesting that Milan were willing to include De Sciglio and Romagnoli in a deal. However, Romagnoli is considered unsaleable to the Rossoneri and only De Sciglio could be involved, as he’s already on his way out.

Despite having negotiated for a long time, Milan and Lazio still haven’t found an agreement regarding Lucas Biglia. Milan even raised their offer in the last hours to €14-15m plus €2m in bonuses. However, Lazio continue to ask for €20m and at the moment, the distance is only €3m between demand and offer.

Corriere Della Sera

Milan are working on closing the deal for Biglia before they depart to China (Friday), but there’s still a €3m gap between the clubs.

Yesterday, Milan received €22m from the owner Yonghong Li, which the club also confirmed on their website. Milan will most likely use this on the transfer market.

Leonardo Bonucci is an idea for AC Milan’s defence. Even though there are no negotiations between the clubs yet, Bonucci’s future in Turin is very uncertain. His agent, Alessandro Lucci proposed him to Milan during a meeting yesterday. However, Juventus don’t want to sell him, unless Bonucci actually wants to leave, because then they won’t stop him if the right offer arrives. Mattia De Sciglio could be included in a potential deal.

Tuttosport

AC Milan have not given up on Andrea Belotti, although it’s tough for the Rossoneri to bring him in due to Torino’s price tag. However, Milan do have some players they could include that Sinisa Mihajlovic likes, meaning they could lower Belotti’s €100 price tag.

La Repubblica

AC Milan have raised their offer for Lucas Biglia in the last hours to €18m. It remains to be seen if Lazio are willing to let him go for that, as they’ve made it clear before that they want nothing less than €20m. What’s certain, is that Milan won’t give up.

La Stampa

Yesterday, Leonard Bonucci was offered to AC Milan, as he wants a new challenge. Juventus want nothing less than €50m and are waiting for the right offer to arrive. Milan could lower that price tag by including De Sciglio in the deal.
