Paqueta: “We have to win tonight, my position…”

By Isak Möller -

Ahead of tonight’s clash between Hellas Verona and AC Milan at Stadio Bentegodi, Lucas Paqueta spoke to MilanTV about his side’s position for the game, stating that they must take home the three points tonight.

“We must win, Milan must win all the games. I will do my best to help my teammates in order to get the result we need,” he began.

The Brazilian was also asked about his new position, playing behind Piatek in attack along with Suso. Previously, he has been deployed as a mezz’ala, though Giampaolo seemingly believes he can do better further up the pitch.

“I will play in the position that is the most favourable to me. It’s easier if you play with quality players, and Milan have these,” he concluded.

Tonight’s clash will be an important one, not just for the points at stake, but also because the Rossoneri will take on Inter in the derby next weekend. Therefore, a win tonight would give them a nice confidence boost ahead of the big clash.

As reported by MilanNews.it, Boban, Maldini and Massara are at the stadium to observe the game from close range. After beating Brescia last time out, Giampaolo’s men will look to continue on the same path this evening.
