Lorenzo Colombo is not expected to remain at AC Milan beyond the summer transfer window, and Parma have come forward to express interest.
Like Devis Vasquez, Colombo was sent to Empoli on loan with an option to buy ahead of the 2024-25 season. Although he wasn’t terrible with seven goals and two assists, the Tuscan side decided not to buy him given the relegation to Serie B and the €7m expense that would have been required.

Colombo to Parma?
According to TMW, Parma have decided to step up their pressure for Colombo. After requesting information in recent weeks, the Ducali have decided to move forward and seek an agreement with the Rossoneri.
Despite Colombo being on tour with the first team squad, he is not part of Massimiliano Allegri’s plans for next season. Igli Tare has also made it clear that the intention is to sign another centre-forward, and so the Milan academy product should be allowed to go.
Given this context, Milan would be happy to sell Colombo or at least loan to free up a spot in the squad for another striker. It’s possible that the Italian’s move to Parma could be a loan with an option to buy, set at around €6m or €7m.

An option doesn’t help us get Leoni but an outright figure of 5m attached to a sale this summer plus 20m might do
We have LITERALLY 1 STRIKER AT THE CLUB. Why tf are we even considering selling him rn??? Never even given him a chance in real games. This management genuinely seems to despise our youth players. Colombo, Camarda, liberali, Simic, zeroli, Bartesaghi, Traore, terriani, Vos, we won’t give minutes to literally any of them. We just keep making stupid transfer decions like emerson felix and walker, and then sell our promising youth for pennies. Its no wonder futuro project ended up in complete failure, this management is hopeless
I wholeheartedly agree. Emerson and Felix were a waste. I would say Walker was a level above Calabria.
The issue with playing our youths is potential short term pain (no titles) but long term gain. May not appeal to our tone deaf management.
I would do this deal only if Milan gets Leoni.
Colombo moving does not “free up a spot” because he doesn’t use a registration spot.
We have one ‘Italian registration’ spots left (F. Terracciano, P. Terracciano, Ricci) and unless we exclude or sell someone like Bennacer, Okafor, Royal, Musah we don’t have any free of the 17 standard registration spots. And that’s assuming we don’t sign Jashari, Vlahovic or a non-Italian RB.
Colombo and Gabbia are the only two Milan-trained Over 22s, now Pobega has gone, so we can basically keep him in the registration for free. If he goes and we have a striker injury… We’re a bit screwed.
Why not keep him? He’s a solid 3rd string striker and possibly back-up if Gimenez or the other guy gets hurt.
20m + Colombo + Thiaw (free loan) for Leoni,
seem like Tomori/ Pavlo will go next season then Thiaw back as stronger replacement
Too bad CM just announced he is going to Genoa
Milan wants to sign another random foreign striker. Every graduated from the youth sector always going out while no use players like Emerson, origi, lazetic, okafor, chukwueze bla bla bla still there.
why Leoni is so up high? because his club trust him and give him minutes he deserves, and why all of our young ones are so cheap? because milan never trust any of them, heck not even camarda. we always sell them for pennies
you are exactly right!
I think something is wrong with our academy. Why for about 10 years we haven’t made a top player from our academy apart from Donaruma. This is realy sending a wrong signals to young players.
