Strahinja Pavlovic spoke to the media after AC Milan’s defeat against Torino last night, a game in which he did quite well in both phases of the game. He expressed despair after yet another unfortunate turn of events for the Rossoneri.
In our player ratings, Pavlovic was ranked as the best along with Riccardo Sottil, leading by example from the back. He came close to scoring an equaliser at the end, setting up the former winger who then picked him out with a good cross.
Speaking to Mediaset after yesterday’s defeat, as transcribed by MilanNews, Pavlovic shared his thoughts on the situation. He stated that in seven years of being a professional player, he hasn’t experienced anything like this.
“What is happening? It’s difficult to say. I have been a professional footballer for seven years and I have never had so many unfortunate things happen to me as in the last few months . It’s really difficult to explain, but as I have often said, we must be strong and stay united.
“We must not blame each other, it’s not a good thing, we must stay united as much as possible. We have a match every 3-4 days, we must continue to push, it’s the only way.”
Pavlovic will surely start against Bologna on Thursday as Milan need all three points. Lazio are up after that one so it will truly be a decisive week for the Rossoneri, who have thrown a lot away due to the individual mistakes.
If we had 11x pavlovic we would never lose ,great heart ,real fighter
I’d bet we would lose every single game.
Because you’re an idiot.
So you think that a lineup with 11 Strahinja Pavlovics in a team could beat anyone? No need to write anything extra, just the question is enough. You are a football genius, a wizard.
3 fast players in opposing team would destroy it. They wouldn’t even need to play 11 vs 11. Easy.
No team would do a single thing versus 11 Pavlovic’s.
Igor still thinks Pavlovic is slow… I have a suitable word to describe his intellect here but I think it’s too obvious. 😀 😀 😀 😀
From X:
Serbian Football Scout
@SerbFootyScout
“Pavlović hit a new top speed of 34.8 km/h, making him 0.1 km/h faster than Radonjić in this year’s UCL. That puts him among the fastest CBs and inside the top 50 overall.
For context:
• Lukeba – 35.1
• Van Dijk – 34.9
• Gvardiol – 34.8
• Salah – 34.5
• Sané – 34.4”
But I’m sure Igor is right with his “slow” opinion… 😀 😀 😀 😀
You are here regularly hating on Pavlović. You must be a croat or something.
He really took that possible transfer and realised he needed to go full Serb mode and playing to his strengths instead of being overly cautious like a scared puppy. I love seeing him burst through 2/3 players at a time
Milan is cursed since Redbird took over and sacked Maldini only to replace him with an even worse and inexperienced people like Ibra and Moncada.
Everything is going wrong from the top down. First they decided after years with Pioli to replace him with Lopetegui who didn’t arrive ONLY because the fans protested. BUT then they decided to go for Fonseca? UNBELIEVABLE
Conceição is also making mistakes with wrong formation, team selection and wrong substitutions. Taking off his best attacking players to sub on defenders and midfielders when we are down a goal is just beyond bizarre.
Then there are the players who are making their share of mistakes starting the leader in mistakes Mr. Mike Maignan, Theo, Musah and Thiaw.
Milan is a club owned and run by a bunch of bozos. What a circus show. Wrong people in management, wrong coach selection and wrong players. Smh
Yeah Maldini Maldini Maldini, you have 1 excuse all the time
He aint coming back, deal with it
