As they write, the Serbian has suffered a ‘high-impact direct trauma’, due to the tackle from Ignace Van der Brempt, who did not even get booked…
The defender has been left with a ‘large hematoma of the soft tissue and edematous-hemorrhagic imbibition of the fibular bone without interruption of the cortex’. In other words, a very strong blow, but not a fracture.
As a result, he is likely to miss Sunday’s game, given that he is still limping.
Again crazy not to give a yellow to the como player or even have VAR come in and review for potential red card.
Very crazy, and these incidents continue to compile match in match out, crazy thing is VAR didn’t get a shout out.
I know, very reckless definitely a yellow no question. The fact that was missed is crazy. It was clear in live action. Red is debatable and if it was me I wouldn’t have given it but we’ve all seen refs send players off for similar fouls.
