AC Milan are looking at the signing of a new right winger in the summer transfer window to replace the outgoing Samu Castillejo, a report claims.
There has been an abundance of speculation both in the media and cries from supporters suggesting that a new right winger is needed ahead of a potential return to the Champions League, because Alexis Saelemaekers and Castillejo offer a certain skill set but not much in terms of goal threat.
According to the latest from Pietro Balzano Prota on Twitter, one of the target for the summer transfer window will indeed be a new attacking player for the right side. The journalist adds that in all likelihood Castillejo’s time at Milan will probably be over after three seasons as the Spaniard is set to depart once the window reopens.
No targets are mentioned by Prota, but there is no doubt that names will begin to emerge in the coming days and months.
