Pedulla: Chelsea centre-back offered to Milan and Napoli through intermediaries

AC Milan remain determined to sign another central defender in the last two weeks of the January transfer window, and they have reportedly been offered Trevoh Chalobah of Chelsea.

A number of different names have been linked with Milan in recent days from Alessandro Buongiorno of Torino to Lilian Brassier of Brest, but at the moment there is no one option that seems closer than the others.

Alfredo Pedulla confirms that are looking sign a central defender, but a lot will depend on the budget they want to invest. Buongiorno for example seems to have too high an asking price, but we will soon understand if the situation will change.

Brassier remains a hypothesis, but Brest want €15m including bonuses to sell the Frenchman and as such the management are evaluating whether or not to move concretely for the 24-year-old.

In the last few hours, Trevoh Chalobah has been offered to Milan as he is set to leave Chelsea. He wants to find a club where he can play more consistently and is evaluating various offers, not only from Serie A.

Chalobah has also been offered by some intermediaries to Napoli, another club in pursuit of a centre-back, so now we must see if either club bite.
