Pedulla: Milan begin talks with Juventus over 24-year-old defender

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have had contacts with Juventus over the potential signing of defender Luca Pellegrini, according to a report.

Fode Ballo-Toure is heading for the exit door, and as we reported yesterday it is Fulham and Bologna who are the two most concretely interested teams when it comes to the Senegalese full-back, but they are polar opposite positions.

Milan, anticipating that the sale gets done, have begun to think of a potential replacement for Ballo-Toure and they have turned to Luca Pellegrini as per a report from Alfredo Pedulla.

The 24-year-old would have liked to continue his experience with Lazio where he was on loan last season, but it does not seem possible, while OGC Nice – who have also been linked with Ballo-Toure – are interested in him.

However, in the last few hours there have been contacts between Juventus and Milan to set up a possible negotiations. Milan have also probed Calafiori in recent days, but Pellegrini’s profile is more convincing.

  1. Florenzi can play LB, and Saelemaekers can RB. Pretty good cover for Theo & Calabria.

But, if Pellegrini can bought in very good price, why not. Florenzi will out too, i think.

    1. Florenzi is not good at all at LB and has many fitness problems. Saelasmaekers unfortunately is on his way out of this team I think.

Pellegrini would be a great signing but I doubt juve will let him go for cheap.
