Pedulla: Milan big admirers of Marseille star but Lazio have joined the race to sign him

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan remain interested in signing Boubacar Kamara from Marseille and could land him in a cut-price deal, according to a report.

Alfredo Pedulla writes that Marseille will attempt to renew Kamara’s contract but it does not seem likely that the player will commit to a new deal, so it is a situation to be followed carefully because Kamara represents a market opportunity given his contract expires in a year.

The 21-year-old is a target for Milan regardless of Sandro Tonali’s increasingly probable permanent signing and attempts to bring Bakayoko back to the club, but there are also a couple of English clubs interested.

Meanwhile, Lazio believe Kamara could be the right man to put in front of the defence, with Milinkovic-Savic and Luis Alberto on the sides. It is also worth noting that he can play centre-back too if needed, so his versatility clearly appeals to both clubs.

  1. Sign this kid ASAP! Amazing talent plays well beyond his years. An play CB and mid. Forget Bakayoko and sign Kamara. He is actually worth 40m so to get him for 20m is a steal. Pls do not let him go to Lazio. Sign him and we solve two problems- CB and def mid.
