Pedulla: Milan big admirers of Marseille star but Lazio have joined the race to sign him

AC Milan remain interested in signing Boubacar Kamara from Marseille and could land him in a cut-price deal, according to a report.

Alfredo Pedulla writes that Marseille will attempt to renew Kamara’s contract but it does not seem likely that the player will commit to a new deal, so it is a situation to be followed carefully because Kamara represents a market opportunity given his contract expires in a year.

The 21-year-old is a target for Milan regardless of Sandro Tonali’s increasingly probable permanent signing and attempts to bring Bakayoko back to the club, but there are also a couple of English clubs interested.

Meanwhile, Lazio believe Kamara could be the right man to put in front of the defence, with Milinkovic-Savic and Luis Alberto on the sides. It is also worth noting that he can play centre-back too if needed, so his versatility clearly appeals to both clubs.
