Pedulla: James offered to Milan by Jorge Mendes

According to Alfredo Pedulla, super-agent Jorge Mendes has reportedly offered Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez to AC Milan. The 28-year-old midfielder has had trouble finding a home since he put the world on watch during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Rodriguez moved from Monaco to Madrid in a summer blockbuster move in 2014, after being the star player for Colombia at the World Cup. He played at the Santiago Bernabeu for three season before being pushed out by new manager Zinedine Zidane in 2017.

James moved to Bayern Munich in 2017 on a two-year loan with manager Pep Guardiola in charge of the club. Finding it hard to play under the new manager last season, the club decided not to make his move permanent this summer.

It is no surprise that AC Milan are interested in signing the star midfielder, as he played very well during his time at Madrid netting 28 goals in 77 appearances for the club. It remains to be seen if this will be a loan or a purchase, but given Milan’s relationship with Real Madrid,  a deal could be on the table.
